Keď už sa nesieme v týždni Fashion Revolution, mám tu pre vás pripravený tento článok. Aby som objasnila to, čo vám tu píšem, tak som pre vás prichystala pokračovanie tvorby odevnej kolekcie... Aj keď toto nebude obevná kolekcia, včak tento postup je ďalším krokom v jej tvorení. Prvým krokom bola tvorba moodboardu a hľadanie inšpirácie, ktorú ste mohli vidieť v tomto úvodnom článku. Druhým je táto inšpirácia aplikovaná do vlastných autosrkých návrhov, do ktorých je dobré zakomponovať aj technické nákresy daných odevov. Ja by som to rada spracovala pomocou trendových kúskov, ktoré zoženiete na známych zahraničných ale aj slovenských e-shopoch... Týmto kúskom sa vraví takzvaná "plochá móda". Pýtate sa prečo? Tento pojem vznikol z dôvodu toho, že sa móda stala fenoménom, marketingovým nástrojom a nezastaviteľným kolobehom výroby. Odevné strihy sa tam museli zjednodušovať a začali zanikať odevy na mieru, krásne vypracované na postavu... Vznikla veľkovýroba a štandardizované veľkosti vypočítane ako priemer istého počtu ľudí z daných kútov sveta. Týchto štandardizovaných veľkostí je viac a preto vám niektoré kúsky nemusia sedieť, aj keď je to vaša veľkosť.

     Zozbierala som pár obrázkov z internetových obchodov, ako sú napríklad Rose Gal. Viem, že sú to komerčné eshopy a nie lokálny predajcovia, ale sú to stránky, kde ľudia nakupujú najčastejšie... Sú to kúsky, ktoré zvládne ušiť aj začiatočník. Rada by som tým demonštrovala možnosť vlastných prevedení tohto trendového odevu, ktorý nie vždy stojí toľko, aká je jeho reálna hodnota (však do ekonomických aspektov, ktoré sa skrývajú za týmito veľkopredajcami, sa pustím niekedy inokedy, alebo si o nich prečítajte na @fash_revslovakia / @fash_revczechrepublic). Za túto cenu ste schopní svojpomocne si ich ušiť z oveľa kvalitnejších materiálov, alebo o to poprosiť a tak podporiť lokálnych dizajnérov či remeselníkov. Rada by som sa týmto vrátila k remeslu a ukázala vám cestu ľúbeznej ručnej práce, ktorá začína z tohto sveta vymierať...

     Pripravujem pre vás tutoriály, ako si tieto krásne kúsky budete môcť ušiť úplne sami v pohodlí vášho domova! Ukážem vám, ako na to, pripravím pre vás veľmi jednoduché strihy, ktoré si budete u mňa môcť stiahnuť aj zdarma. Šiť budem na seba alebo ma moju krajčírsku pannu európskej veľkosti 36-38, takže si budete môcť dané kúsky následne kúpiť, ak budete mať záujem podporiť moju prácu! Veď niet lepší pocit, ako možnosť zrecyklovať staré na nové, upraviť nenosené na nositeľné, či skrášliť nechcené na obľúbené, alebo zakúpiť jedinečné a originálne.

     Verím, že sa tu nájdete, ak by ste si predsa len chceli nejaký z vybraných kúskov naozaj kúpiť, odkazy na ne nájdete pod obrázkami. Nasledujúci článok z tejto série sa bude zameriavať na textilné materiály, ich zloženie, predaj a moje obľúbené obchody, v ktorých vždy nájdem textílie za super ceny! ENGLISH : Because we are in the week of Fashion Revolution, I have prepared this article here for you today. As I should clarify all the thing I write you here, I prepared the continuation of the creation of fashion collection... Although this is wont be the real collection, this approach is another step in the creation. The first step was the creation of mood boards and searching for inspiration, which you could see in this opening article. The second one is this inspiration applied to the own designs, to which is good to embed also the technical drawings of clothes. I would like to process it by trendy pieces, which you can find at many well-known foreign and Slovak e-shops... These pieces are called "flat fashion". You ask why? This notion was made because the fashion began to be the phenomena, the marketing tool and unstoppable cycle of production. The clothing patterns needed to be simplified and the well-tailored clothing started to extinct... The mass-produce had started and the standardized pattern was made as the average size of measures of the certain number of people from different parts of the world. There are few of them and so the clothes don't need to fit you from all the parts of the world, although it can be your size.

     I compiled a few pictures from some e-shops, as for example Rose Gal. I know they are not the local label brands, but those e-shops are stores with the highest amount of orders... These are the pieces, which the beginner is able to make. I would like to demonstrate the possibility of your own creation of the trendy clothes, which doesn't always cost the real price of it (but I will talk about the economic aspects, which are hidden behind the wholesalers sometime in the future, or you can read about it at @fash_rev). You are able to sew it by yourself for this price from much-more higher quality materials or ask for y help and support in this way the local designers and craftsmen. I would like to get back to the crafts by this way and show you the way of lovely handmade work, which is starting to die off from this world...

     I try to prepare for you the sewing tutorials of how to sew by yourself these beautiful pieces from the comfort of your home! I will show you how to do it, I will prepare some very easy patterns, which you will download from here for free. I will sew these pieces myself or to my sewing mannequin of size EUR 36-38, so you also be able to buy those pieces from me if you would like to support my work! Well, there isn't better feeling as recycling old for new, repair unwearable to wearable, of make much-more beautiful something forgotten to your favorite, or buy something original.

Yes, I am in the middle of that time and I try from the bottom of my strength to make everything right and go by my list of things I have to get done by it importance.      Všetky knižky majú presný a výstižný názov toho, akú techniku predstavujú a knižka o pletení toho nie je výnimkou. A nakoľko štrikovanie ma baví asi najviac, začnem práve ňou! Nejaké tie fotky s mojím pletením a pleteninami môžte občas vidieť na mojom istagrame. Knihu ste už mohli vidieť tuto na začiatku roka, keď som ručne plietla semestránu prácu na akadémií umenia v Lodži počas môjho Erazmu. Knižôčku napísala nemecká bloggerka Jessica Brewernick z blogu schoenstricken.de. Technika ručného pletenia je rozpísaná pár stránkach s krásnymi obrázkami a skvelými jednoduchými názornými radami, ako si napríklad uštrikovať úžasnú zimnú čiapočku!

ENGLISH : All the books have the right and eloquent title of the technique, which they represent and the book about the knitting is not the exception. And because I love knitting the most, I will start with this one! You can sometimes see the pictures with my knitting and my knittings at my instagram account. You could already see this book at the beginning of this year here when I was making my semestral work at the Academy of fine arts in Lodž, where I was attending my stay abroad with the Erasmus+ project. This little book was written by German blogger Jessica Brewernick from the blog  schoenstricken.de. The technique of the hand knitting is described on several pages with beautiful images and wonderfully simple graphical pieces of advice, for example how to knit amazing winter hat!

ŠITIE / ŠITÍ / SEWING

     Kniha o šití, od ktorej všetci očakávate asi najviac... Popravde, nenájdete v nej nič zložité a naozaj málo o šití oblečenia. Však ako môžem sama odporúčiť, pri vašich začiatkoch a šicích prvotinkách je najlepšie začať najednodušními vecičkami, ako sú napríklad vankúše! Keď som sama začínala, hádajte, čo všetci dostali na Vianoce? Samozrejme vankúše! A táto kniha je práve skvelá pre začiatočníkov, ktorý chcú ísť krok za krokom a naučiť to čo najlepšie. Nemecká bloggerka Andrea Müller z blogu jolijou.com to v knihe všetko krásne opisuje a vy sa nemusíte báť vziať ihlu, či sadnúť si za šijací stroj!

ENGLISH : The book about sewing, from which you all expect the most... Truthfully, you will not find anything too complicated there and not too much about sewing the clothes. But I personally would like to recommend you this book, because when you are the beginner with sewing, you should start with sewing the basics and the simplest stuff as the pillows! When I was trying to learn how to sew, you can guess what was that year top Christmas present to everyone I know? Of course, the pillows! And this book is right for the beginners, who would like to learn to sew step by step, and know it the best. German blogger Andrea Müller from the jolijou.com describes is amazingly in the book and you don't need to be afraid to take the needle or use the sewing machine!

VYŠÍVANIE / VYŠÍVÁNÍ / EMBROIDERY

     Ďalšia technika, ktorá je momentálne stále veľmi trendy, nakoľko výšivky teraz výdavať na každom onlečení v najznámejších obchodných reťazcoch. Toto je však ručné vyšívanie, ktoré zvládnete aj doma pri pozeraní obľúbeného seriálu. V knižke o vyšívani môžte nájsť krásne nápady na skrášlenie si nie len oblečenia, ale aj doplnkov a interiéru. Tieto idey úžasne spracovala ďalšia nemecká bloggerka Anja Brinkmann z blogu mymaki.de. Verím, že vás táto technika nadchne presne tak ako mňa a vyskúšate jej rôzne druhy vyšívania, ktoré knižôčka ponúka!

ENGLISH : Another technique, which is currently so trendy, because you can find embroideries at almost every piece of clothing in the most famous shopping lines. But this is the hand embroidery, which you can make during watching your favorite tv series. In the book about embroidery, you can find there amazing ideas how to make you clothes much prettier, but not just them, but also your accessories and also the interior stuff. These ideas amazingly summarized another German blogger Anja Brinkmann from the blog called mymaki.de. I believe, that you will fall in love with this technique as much as me, and you will try different kind of embroidery, which this little book offers!

HÁČKOVANIE / HÁČKOVÁNÍ / CROCHET

     A posledná z techník, ktoré dokážete vytvárať v teplúčku vašej pohodlnej postele - háčkovanie. Ak mám pravdu povedať, táto technika mi veľmi neide... Ešte som nikdy nič neuháčkovala! A preto mám v rukách túto knihu o háčkovaní, ktorá mi pomôže konečne sa to naučiť! Ako v ostatných knižkách, aj v tejto je krásne a názorne ukázaný jednoduchý postup, ako sa to naučiť! Poslená nemecká loggerka Lydia Tresselt z blogu lalylala.com/blog tiež prináša rôzne drobnôstky, ktoré si háčkovaním môžte vytvoriť. O tom, ako mi ide učenie sa novej technike, vás budem určite informovať prostredníctvom môjho instagramu!

ENHLISH : And the last technique, which you can create from the warmth of your comfortable bed - crochet. As I would personally and truthfully say, this technique is not the best one for me... I have never crocheted anything before! And that's why I have this book about crochet in my hands, which will help me to finally learn it! As it is in the other books - in this book are clearly and graphically shown the simple steps how to learn it! The last blogger from Germany, Lydia Tresselt from the blog lalylala.com/blog, also brings different trifles, which you can make by the crochet technique.      Všetky knižôčky vrelo odporúčam, sú písané jednoducho, s nádhernou grafikou, s najjednoduchšími radami a krokmi na kreáciu a nájdete ich v českom preklade!      Áno, je to už druhá časť. Prvú zaplavu dostupných a poučných knižiek ste už mohli čítať v tomto článku. Chystám sa vám napísať o všetkých knižkách, ktoré doma mám, a ktoré mi pomáhajú so samoučným vzdelávaním o móde, dejinách, šití, textile, materiáloch či rôznych technikách, ktoré pri kreácií môžu byť využité a obohatia hocijakú textilnú tvorbu. Dnes to budú tri knižky v slovenskom a českom jazyku o dejinách odievania, nakoľko každý, kto sa chce naozaj venovať móde, musí vedieť o tom, ako vznika, ako sa vyvýjala, kam smerovala a akými obdobiami si prešla.

ENGLISH : Yes, this is already the second part. You could already read the first wave of the affordable and informative books in this article. I am preparing myself to write about all the books, which I have at home and which helps me to self-learning about fashion, history of art, sewing, fabrics and textiles, or different techniques, which is used in creating and they can enrich some textile product. Today I have here for you three books in translated to Slovak or Czech language about fashion history, which you can also find in English or French language. I have these book here, because of everyone, who wants to be a part of the fashion industry, needs to know how it came into being, how it grew, where it has been led and which historical periods it went through.

MÓDA STOROČIA / FASHION : THE TWENTIETH CENTURY

     Najväčší obrat v móde nastal na prelome 19. a 20. storočia, keď sa móda úplne mení. Mení sa postavenie ženy, jej prínos do spoločnosti a funkčnosť jej života, keď sa z nej musí stať praktická žena, ktorá počas prítomnosti muža vo vojne, sa musí postarať o každú maličkosť v domácnosti, ktorú dovtedy vykonávali len muži. Tým sa začína meniť pohľad na ženský odev a celý obraz o tom, ako sa odev začal vyvíjať veľkou rýchlosťou a ako je tomu až dodnes. Toto všetko a oveľa viac o móde, životnom štýle, módnych návrhároch, či iných podstatných veciach, ktoré ovplyvnili odevný priemysel v minulom storočí, sa dozviete v knihe od François Baudot vo vydaní od Ikaru z roku 2001. Táto kniha dáva všeobecný pohľad na to, ako to všetko prebiehalo, vyvíjalo sa a ovplyvnilo módu aj dnes.

ENGLISH : The biggest turnover in fashion happened in the crossing of 19. and 20. centuries, when the fashion has completely changed. The status of women has been changed, also their contribution to society and the function of their lives, when there was a need for them to become the practical women who need to take care of the household in the absence of the men during the war, by taking the responsibility and the works which men have been doing by then. That's the start of the change of the view of the women clothes and the whole image of how the clothes have begun to change so fast and as it is the same up to these days. You can read all this and a lot of more about fashion, lifestyle, fashion designers, or other important things, which affected the fashion industry in the last century, in the book written by François Baudot from 2001. This book gives the general view of how it all changed, evolved and how it has affected the nowadays fashion.

FASHION NOW 2 / FASHION NOW 2

     Multijazyčná kniha z roku 2010 je rozšíreným vydaním pôvodnej knihy s názvom Fashion Now z roku 2006, ktorú zostavil známy britský časopis i-D a zozbieral tak informácie o všetkých svetových módnych návrhároch a značkách, ktoré sa v tomto priemysle dokázali dostať na piedestál a vytvoriť tak svetové odevné impérium, či zanechať po sebe odkaz v podobe razantnej zmeny v odievaní. Táto kniha je naozaj plná mien, ktoré všetci dobre poznáme, ale aj tých, ktoré nám v Európe nemusia nič vravrieť. Krátke životopisy spolu s fotografiami známych fotografov nájdete na 576 stranách a ak máte odvahu, môžte si tak zlepšiť angličtinu a francúštinu, nakoľko každý text je písany v troch jazykoch.

ENGLISH : Multilingual book from 2010 is the extended version of the original book titled Fashion Now from 2006, which was written by the Britsh magazine i-D and so it collected the information about all of the world's known fashion designers and brands, who were able to reach the top of the most successful marks in this industry and so made the world fashion empire, or leave after themselves the reference in the form of resolute change in the clothing. This book is full of names, which all of you must know so well, but also those, which you could never here in Europe. You can find short biographies with the photographs of famous photographers on 576 pages and if you are brave enough, you can improve your other languages like Frech of the third one, because all of the texts are written in three languages.

KRONIKA MÓDY / THE CHRONICLES OF FASHION

     Táto kniha zaznamenáva celé dejiny odievania v skratke. Ľahké čítanie na necelých 300 stranách, kde nájdete množstvo obrázkov, ilustrácií a zaujímavého textu plného histórie módy, životné príbehy najznámejších osobnosti týchto dejín, módne ikony, či celebrity a modelky, ktoré tento priemysel ovplyvnili. Knihu vydalo vydavateľstvo Fortuna Libri ČR v roku 2011 ako obraz toho, ako vznikal odevný priemysel, ako sa počas doby odevy výrazne menili, ako začínali a čím sa preslávili významní módní tvorcovia a ako ich politické či historické udalosti dokázali v priebehu času tak výrazne meniť.

ENGLISH : This book records the whole history of clothing in short. Easy reading on the less than 300 pages, where you can find a lot of pictures, illustrations and interesting texts full of historical clothes, life stories of the most famous personalities of the whole history of fashion, the fashion icons, or celebrities and models, who also affected this industry. The book is only in Czech language and was published by Fortuna Libri CR in 2011 as the image of how the fashion industry was made, how it all markedly changed by the time, how the designers began to create, how they became famous and how they could be affected so significantly by the political and historical occurrences.

     To by bol koniec záplavy prvých kníh o dejinách módy, ktoré sú preložené či napísané v slovenskom alebo českom jazyku, spolu s odkazmi, kde ich môžte kúpiť najlacnejšie. Ďalšie množstvo knižiek vám prinesiem nabudúce a začnem prispievať aj článkami s basic tutoriálmi o šití, ako som to chcela robiť pred tým, keď mal blog dlhšiu pauzu. Teraz už len pieseň a prianie krásneho nového začiatku mesiaca, ktorý je pred nami!

ENGLISH : It would be the end of the wave of the first books about the fashion history, which you can also read in the English or French language with the links where you can find them for the best price. I will write you about another number of books the next time and I would like to start to add you also the articles about basic tutorials about sewing, as I wanted to do that before my big break.      Víkend v plnom prúde. Piatok som strávila v Prahe behaním po obchodoch s látkami a texilným materiálom, tiež sme si s Erikou zašli do IKEY, ktorú sme jednoducho nemohli vynechať... Doniesla som si naozaj obrovskú kopu látok! Cestou späť mi napadla séria článkov, o ktoré by som sa s vami rada podelila. Ako viete, študujem odevný dizajn Textilnej fakulte TECHNICKEJ UNIVERZITY v Liberci, však moje šicie zručnosti nie sú tak dobré, aby som sa mohla pustiť do tvorby bakalárky. A tak som sa rozhodla začať sa venovať základom, krôčik po krôčiku, učiť sa všetky potrebné veci, ktoré vedú v zhotoveniu celkového outfitu. Mám tu pre vás článok prvý, ktorý obsahuje "zoznam" nejakej tej "literatúry", ktorá vy vám mohla pomôcť... Opäť, neberte to ako striktný učebnicový plán, ktorý vás naučí všetko, čo by ste chceli vedieť. Toto sú len skúsenosti, rady a tipy samouka, ako som ja! ENGLISH : The weekend is in a full swing. I spent my Friday in Prague by running the shops with fabrics and textile materials, also I went to IKEA with Erika, we just could not skip it... I got back home with huge pile of fabrics! On our way back to Liberec, I have got the idea of article series, which I would like to share with you. As you know, I study the fashion design on Faculty Of Textile Engineering on TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY in Liberec, but my sewing skills are not too good to start working on my bachelor work. And so I decided to start devote the bases, step by step, learn all those needed things which leads to the making the entire outfit. I have here for you the first article which contains the some "reading list" which could helps you... Again, do not take it as some strict textbook plan which will teach you everything you want to know. This is just my experiences, advices and tips of self-educated person as I am! I believe that you will like this article, that it may help you a little.      Pre začiatok som vybrala tri knižôčky, ktoré som si obľúbila - FASHIONARY; ODĚVNÍ STŘIHY - JAK JE POUŽÍT, UPRAVIT A NAVRHNOU a ŠITÍ KROK ZA KROKEM. Pekne postupne, všetko poporiadku. Ako ma vysoká škola naučila, všetko má svoje postupy, aj tvorba oblečenia. Vždy najprv rozmýšľate. Je dobré spraviť si nejaký rešerš - zožeňte si nástenku, nejaký kartón alebo veľký diár, kde si budete lepiť rôzne fotografie, výstrižky z časopisov, materiálové vzorky a rôzne veci, ktoré vás inšpirujú. Je to taký vizuálny 'brainstorming', ktorý vám pomôže ďalej sa rozvíjať. Tak svoje návrhy hodíte na papier. Následne je tvorba strihov a strihových šablon, podľa ktorých potom vystrihnete jednotlivé časti daného kusu oblečenia. Zošijete ich, vyžehlíte, upravíte podľa vlastných predstáv a vo-a-lá, je hotovo... Zdá sa to tak jednoduché, ale nie, verte mi! Na to, aby ste vymysleli niečo na tému, ktorú si zvolíte, treba veľa premýšľania. Veľa praxe na naozaj pekné a presné zošitie materiálu, o ktorom tiež treba znalostí - ako ho prať, akou ihlou ho zošiť, ako naň napolohovať šablony... Dlhý proces, na ktorý je naozaj bohatá literatúra. Dnes vám prinášam celkový súhrn tvorby odevu. O navrhovaní, či knižky o štýle, móde a jej histórií, o tých vám napíšem nabudúce.

ENGLISH : For the beginning I chose three books, which I fall in love with - FASHIONARY; CLOTHING PATTERNS - HOW TO USE, ADAPT AND DESIGN and SEWING STEP BY STEP. First things first. As my university taught me, everything has it own procedures, aslo the cloth-making. First you alway just think. It is good to make some search - get some notice-board, some carton or some large diary, where you can glue various photographs, clippings from magazines, fabric samples of all those things you get inspired by. Next you make the patterns and the pattern templates by which you will cut the single parts of set piece of clothes. You will sew it together, iron it out, edit by your own visions and vuala, it is done... It looks like it is so simple, but believe me, it is not! You have to think a lot about the topic you choose. You need to be experienced to perfectly sew the fabric together, about which you also should know something - how to wash it, which needle use to sew it together, which position of patter to choose... The long process, which you can read in many books. Today I have prepared for you the overall precis of making clothes. Next time I will write you about books about fashion design, or books about style, fashion and the fashion history.

Pri tvorbe odevu sú veľmi dôležité odevné návrhy, ktoré môžte spracovať tak, ako vám to ide najlepšie. Ja osobne používam len čiernu tenkú STABILO fixku. Som grafický typ a detailista, niečo málo ste už mohli vidieť, keď som sa inšpirovala MEDÚZOU (VÝSLEDOK). Moja kresba sa od vtedy dosť zmenila, už to nie je tak infantilné, moju tvorbu sa vám tiež chystám ukázať... Na navrhovanie môžete používať čokoľvek - fixky, farbičky, pastely (suché, voskové, olejové...), akvarely, vodové farby, tempery, akryl, tuš, farebný papier... Fantázií ma medze nekladú! Najlepšie na navrhuje na papier. Ale existujú aj rôzne počítačové programy, alebo sketchbook-y, kde máte predkreslenú malú postavičku, ktorá by vám mala pomôcť udržať ľudské proporcie. Najznámejším je práve FASHIONARY, ktorý som asi pre dvoma rokmi vybrala na AMAZON-e, keď som vyhrala poukaz na kúpu... FASHIONARY má vlastnú internetovú stránku s vlastným eshopom, kde si ho môžte zakúpiť za necelých 30 dollárov, alebo STIAHNUŤ si pár siluet zadarmo. Je to však pomerne drahý kúsok (ak by ste chceli lacnejší variant, tak som našla FASHION SKETCHBOOK za 8 dollárov), ja som doň zatiaľ ešte nič nenakreslila, keďže mi je ľúto "zničiť" ho... Okrem predkreslených postavičiek obsahuje aj slovník pojmov, telesné proporcie a rôzne iné pomôcky na tvorbu návrhov. Na INSTAGRAM-e má tiež vlastný profil, kde ľudia z celého sveta zdieľajú svoje návrhy, ktorými sa môžte nechať inšpirovať. FASHIONARY je naozaj dobrá pomôcka, je malý a praktický, zmestí sa aj do kabelky - môžte ho kedykoľvek vytiahnuť a navrhovať vždy, keď vám niečo napadne!

ENGLISH : When you create the clothing, the fashion designs are so important during the creation, which you should skew the best you can. I personally use just the thin black marker by STABILO. I am the grafical type of person and the detailist, you could see a little insight, when I got inspired by the JELLYFISH (THE RESULT). My drawing has changes since that, it is not that much infantile, I am going to show you off my work later... When you design, you can use whatever you want - markers, color penciles, pastels (dry, oily, wax ones...), wathercolors, tempera, acrylic, ink, colored papers... It is up to your fantasy! The best way to design is to draw it into the paper. But there are a lot of computer programs for that, or many sketchbooks, where the silhouette of the body is already drawn - it helps you to retain the proportions of human body. The most famous one is FASHIONARY, which I order from AMAZON two years ago, when I won the voucher for byuing something... FASHIONARY has own website with its own eshop, where you can buy it for about 30 dollars or DOWNLOAD a few silhouettes for free. It is a little more expencive (if you would like to buy something cheaper, I found the FASHION SKETCHBOOK for 8 dollars), I have not drawn the thing into it, even the line, because I am afraid to "destroy" it... You can also find into the sketchbook the textile dictionary, the body proportions and various aids for creating the designs. They also have the INSTAGRAM account, where you can find insiring designs of different people from all around the world. FASHIONARY is a good aid, it is small and practical, you can also put it into your handbag - you can take it out anytime when the ides overflies your mind!

Po schválení návrhu nasleduje modelácia strihov. Predstava v hlave je naozaj očarujúca, no prispôsobiť to tak, aby sa to dalo spracovať a následne použiť na ľudskom tele, je naozaj náročné. Človek si musí uvedomiť, že ľudské telo nie je drevená panna, že dýcha, potrebuje dýchať a pohybovať sa v tom. Tiež, že každý z nás má iné proporcie, iné krivky. To všetko sa zohľadňuje pri tvorbe strihov. V škole som mala predmet na jeden semester venovaný tejto téme, ale je to naozaj krátky čas naučiť sa všetko, čo sa učí na stredných textilných školách štyri roky... Preto som si na meniny poprosila práve TÚTO knižku preloženú do češtiny od Lea Hollahana. Obsahuje o veľa viac, ako som si myslela. Prvá kapitola sa venuje telesným proporciám - ako ich merať, čomu sa venovať, na čo dávať pozor. Druhá kapitola sa venuje strihom z BURDY - ako ich prekresliť, požiť, upraviť... Ďalšia kapitola sa venuje ich samotnej tvorbe, čo je naozaj ťažká časť, pre ktorú som si túto knižku poprosila. Všetko podstatné v nej určite nájdete, je venovaná začiatočníkom, takže sa nemáte čoho báť! Inak, môj otec ju kupoval v MARTINUS-e, kde je nesmierne drahá! Keby som vedela skôr, že ju majú aj na MEGAKNIHÁCH za tak úžasnú cenu...

ENGLISH : The patter making follows after the design approval. The vision in your head is glamorous, but it is so hard to adapt it for making it easier to sew and then use it on the human body. You need to realize that the human body is not the wooden mannequin, that we breath, we need to breath and we need to move in it. Also the fact that everyone has differend proportions, differend curves. All these things are taken into account during making the patterns. I had the school subject for one semester deicated to this topic, but it is really short time for learning everything that people learn at textile high school for four years... So because of that I nicely asked my parents to give me THIS book translated to Czech language originally written by Leo Hollahan for my nameday. It is contained by much more things as I was expected. The first chapter is dedicated to the body proportions - how to measure them out, what to be careful about. The second chapter is dedicated to patterns from BURDA - how to redraw them, use them, adapt them... The next chapter is deicated to the real pattern making, which is the hardest part of making clothes, because of which I asked my parents for this book. You will certainly find everything essential in it, it is dedicated to the beginners, so you do not have to be afraid of anything! Otherwise, my daddy bought it at MARTINUS store, but they sell it so expencive! If I had known before that they also have it at MEGAKNIHY e-bookeshop for so amazing price...

Keď už máme všetko pekne nachystané, nasleduje posledná časť - šitie. Ručné alebo strojové, všetko je potrebné ovládať. Zdá sa vám, že to nie je nič ťažké? Poviem vám, vedieť prišiť dva diely tak, aby k sebe naozaj sedeli, aby sedeli na postave a aby nebolo vidieť žiaden šev, alebo inú vadu, je naozaj ťažké. Sama to neviem a preto som si, v spolupráci s kníhkupectvom MEGAKNIHY, objednala knihu ŠITÍ KROK ZA KROKEM - JAK UŠÍT ŠVY, ZÁLOŽKY, LEMY, ZÁŠEVKY, PÁSKY A DALŠÍ v českom preklade od Alison Smith. Popravde, až neskôr som zistila, že ide práve o šitie "doplnkov", ale potešila som sa tomu, pretože to je na šití naozaj najťažšie. Prišitie vrecka? Tomu sa vyhýbam! Spraviť na golieri (či na vankúši) naozaj špic? To je umenie! Prišiť zips? Katastrofa, za ktorú nám profesorka vždy všetkým vynadala... Upraviť rukáv na košeli? Keď som šila RUŽENKU, úplne som to vynechala... Nedotiahnutá práca úplne dokonca, je to najhoršie. Toto všetko však nájdete v tejto knižke plnej obrázkov, tutoriálov a popisov, ako na to. Je naozaj úžasná a poviem vám, že obsahuje aj tvorbu šablon, základné švy a stehy, či krátke zbežné popisy vlastností materiálov, ktoré je dobré ovládať... Alison Smith tiež vydala všeobecné ŠITIE KROK ZA KROKOM - VYŠE 200 ZÁKLADNÝCH TECHNÍK PRE ZAČIATOČNÍKOV preložené v slovenčine, tiež za skvelú cenu na MEGAKNIHÁCH, a ktoré si tiež plánujem zaobstarať do mojej malej knižnice plnej knižiek týkajúcich sa odievania!

I have to say, it is so hard to sew together two part of fabric to perfectly fit together and also the figure, sew it together to not be seen the seams or other defects. I personally do not know that. So, in the cooperation with MEGAKNIHY e-bookshop, I have orderd the book called SEWING STEP BY STEP - HOW TO SEW SEAMS, BLURBS, HEMS, DARTS, STRAPS AND OTHER in the Czech translation originally written by Alison Smith. Trully said, I found out later that the book is about sewing the "supplements", but I was also about that that, because sew these things is the hardest part of making clothes. Sew the pocket into the skirt? I try to avoid it! Make the spike on the collar (or on the pillow)? It sounds like art! Sew the zipper? The desaster everytime, when our teacher sees our designs... Edit the sleeve on the shirt? When I was making the SLEEPING BEAUTY, I totally skipped it...  Unfinished work is the worst. You can find all these things in this book full of pictures, tutorials and descriptions, how to do it. It is trully amazing and I have to say that it is also contained by the pattern making, the basic seams and stitches, or short cursory descriptions of textiles and fabrics, which is also good to know... Alison Smith also wrote the general SEWING STEP BY STEP - MORE THAN 200 ESSENTIAL TECHNIQUES FOR BEGGINERS, also for a really good price on MEGAKNIHY and which I am also going to buy and put it into my small libary of fashion books!
